Klair Sinclair of Kennett Square

Frederick Klair Sinclair Jr., 65, of Kennett Square died Friday May 2, at Temple University Hospital, Philadelphia.Born in Kennett Square, he was the son of the late Frederick Klair and Elizabeth Winter bottom Sinclair. A graduate of Kennett High School, he also attended Perkiomen Prep School, Staunton Military Academy, Penn State University, and Wayne State University. He served during Vietnam War in the Army from 1965 to 1968 as a Sergeant Drill Instructor at Fort Knox.
He was a real estate broker and owner of Sinclair & Associates in Kennett Square for many years as well as an auctioneer. He was a member of the Kennett Square Lions Club, and a board member of Union Hill Cemetery Association.
Survivors include Lt. Commander James Alan Sinclair and his wife Dawn Mandeville of San Diego Calif.; two brothers, S. Damon Sinclair of Wawa and James C. McComb Sinclair and his wife Ann Givens of Kennett Square. In addition to his parents he is pre-deceased by one brother W. Scott Sinclair
A funeral service will be held 11 a.m., Saturday, May 10, at the Episcopal Church of the Advent, 401 N. Union St., Kennett Square. Family and friends may call from 9:30 to 11 a.m. before the service. Interment will be in Union Hill Cemetery.
Memorial contributions in his memory may be made to the Kennett Square Lions Club P.O. Box 413 Kennett Square, PA 19348.
